Enviropacific is proud to announce the awarding of another stage of upgrade works at RAAF Amberley.
We have been working with Laing O’Rourke Australia to improve firefighting infrastructure of the Base.
From an original contract value of $4.2M for remediation of an old fuel farm to make way for a new fire station and BOM in 2016, construction onsite water treatment plants, asbestos removal, semi-permanent PFAS impacted soil stockpiling, to installing 2km of new fire main.
The most recent package of work includes all civil earthworks for the installation of approximately 10km fire main (500mm main) and building connections across the Base.
The work includes the waste characterisation and management of 14,000m3 of PFAS impacted soil and sludges whilst minimising impacts to base operations. It will be phased over the next 12 months, including permanent road widening, upgrading fuel supplies to pumps, directional drilling, road and verge works to allow the replacement of aged and installation of the new pipework.
The project demonstrates the breadth of capability and expertise that Enviropacific can deliver to its clients.
Congratulations to all who have been involved in the project since 2016 – it is a testament to your hard work and abilities.
